It’s the last day of summer vacation, and five bored 8th graders are stuck inside on a rainy day. To cure their boredom, group leader Lisa devises a plan: prank the new kid who is moving in next door.
The plan is simple: Lure the new kid into Lisa’s legendarily creepy attic, and scare them with a fake haunting. The group prepares to give the new kid a welcome they’ll never forget. But as the power goes out and the prank begins, the friends discover that their fake ghost story is all too real.
